Just received these boots today and they seem like every good thing I have heard about them.These wheat/yellow Timberland Pro Direct attach boots are very comfortable and appear to be Very well made. I will give them a good workout in the near future as I wear my boots ALL day Every day and I do a lot of hiking in the mountains as well doing every outdoor job that comes with living in the mountains. As they are work boots, I didnt mind too much but the boots arrived and it was like I ordered them used as they were all scratched and scuffed up-based on that didnt want to go the trouble of returning them only to get same ones again.

Possibly the best work boots I have ever owned. I have had them for a year and it is time to replace them. They are still very comfortable and supportive, but I have worn through the soles and the leather is cracking. This has nothing to do with the durability of the boots and everything to do with the fact that I work with concrete and I have never oiled the leather.
They required very little break in. The insulation is effective in winter and not any hotter than any other boots in summer. The waterproofing worked well and held up well. The best part is that once these boots are broken in, they are very comfortable. I am pretty sure I could run a 10K in them with a sore spot or blister. 5 stars!
